Baker Doubles Tournament

3RD BAKER DOUBLES TOURNAMENT – October 18, 2016

Nick Galusha (left) and Matt Sherman dominated the field this year and took home the championship with their performance. Galusha and Sherman won by 65 pins.

The 2016 Baker Doubles Tournament drew a field of 32 teams. There were teams from Vermont, the capital district, and even a team from Canada. Six teams made the cut to the round robin match play. When all the bowling was complete, the team of Nick Galusha and Matt Sherman came away with the title. Last year’s champs, Steve Rock and Rick Fredette made a run at defending their title but ended up in fourth. Galusha and Sherman took home $1000 for their great bowling. The team of Gene Speenburg and Ed Czyzewski shot the only perfect game of the day although there were a couple of other near misses including a 296 game by this year’s champs.

Please see the flyer for complete rules and entry form.
