Baker Doubles Tournament


Richard & Rebekah VanScoyk are presented their first place check from KPA Owner Doug Bohannon (right). The VanScoyks came up from Kingston and won the Baker Doubles Tournament on the last game of match play. They won $1500.

The 2018 Baker Doubles Tournament took place on Sunday October 28, 2018. This year the tournament attracted 37 teams. There were teams from Canada, western New York, Vermont, and downstate New York. The teams bowled 8 games of qualifying on a 41′, 4.2:1 pattern. The top 8 teams then advanced to the round robin match play. Qualifying pins carried over. teams were awarded 30 bonus pins for a win and they split 15 pins each for a tie.

Richard and Rebekah VanScoyk, from Kingston, came away with the $1500 first place money as they went 6-2 in match play after qualifying 4th.

Next year’s event will take place on October 27, 2019.
